We understand that starting any new fitness routine can be overwhelming and intimidating. The goal of the Catalyst Fundamentals Program is to eliminate your fears, introduce you to the methodology, and have some fun - all while getting fitter.
We will teach you how to move safely and efficiently through the most common movements you will encounter in all of our general classes. At the end of the four weeks, you will have a strong understanding of the foundations of Catalyst, and be ready to make the transition into our classes!
Each Fundamentals session will be limited to a small group of athletes to ensure a close learning environment. Each session will begin with a warm up specific to that day's workout, a new skill and a workout with your newly learned movements.
At the end of each session, we'll have a short talk about a variety of topics, including nutrition, mobility, scaling, etc.
Please reach us at support@catalystmvmt.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Everyone! If you are interested in joining Catalyst, fundamentals is for you. Regardless of your athletic background or current fitness level. Everyone can benefit from hands-on attention of the small group and the educational component of the class.
No, you don't. In fact, most of our members jump right in classes and learn the skills then. However, if you need a few sessions to shake the rust off in a small group setting, this is the place to do it.
Each week we will focus on a different skill. Whether that is pressing, pulling, hinging or squatting, we have many variations that we cover. We will warm up as a group, learn a new skill with in-depth training and teaching, then use these new movements in a workout. At the end of each class, we will have a small discussion on numerous topics to help excel your education before entering classes.
If you are unable to make it during the scheduled Fundamentals classes, don't let that stop you from joining our community! We are able to schedule you a free trial class to check out one of our general classes. Most people actually start off right in general classes. Our general classes will have a coaching staff to help guide newbies through the movements, scaling and stimulus of a class. Email support@catalystmvmt.com to try out a class today!
